I just couldn't resist to post another blog post today! I needed to make up for all the days I missed posting on. :P
This is another noob art I made about the Speed-Stinger dragon from How-To-Train-Your-Dragon. Made entirely offline, I couldn't do the proper shading... I was using very cheap materials. Just like in my other post today, I will upgrade this picture. But I will do it offline AND online! Keep drawing! This is a noob art I made when I was 6 years old. It's about two humming-birds on a date! XD
I drew it straight in Gimp and (over)used the smudge tool to make feathers! It was a foolish thing to do, as humming-birds actually aren't that fuzzy, they are rather smooth. In the future, I will remake it with my upgrades. Keep arting! :) This is LilyPelt. This humble little medicine cat leaped out of my artistic mind after reading three awe-inspiring chapters of Warrior Cats: The New Prophecy: Midnight. By: Erin Hunter. (Yikes, that's a lot of :'s!)
LilyPelt used to be a kitty-pet. She lived with a quirky family with a pink fanatic daughter! And that very family dyed her beautiful ginger fur pale violet to compromise from the neon bright pink that their insistent little daughter pleaded for. When running away from her owners, she had her left eye blinded from running through barbed thorns. She then joined WindClan and became the caretaker of the kitts. A few months later, she signed up to be an official medical cat. Anyways, I shed some tears today because I did a screen-capture of this very picture, but sadly, what was only captured was LilyPelt's tail and the dried yarrow leaves! Bohoohoo:'( Well, it's fine now, but I need to say: Let's Keep Reading & Tone Up our Brain Muscles! This is the artwork I made for SamanthaBell June Transportation art contest! I REEAALY love dragons, and that's why I chose the WoolyHowl dragon as my transportation!
I started by drawing on paper and then finishing up in Pixelmator. I hope you like it! :) When you enter an art contest, you already win, because you get to have fun as you create your art. Happy Arting! |
