This is a drawing I did a while back of a female Asiatic Rhinoceros Beetle. Rhinoceros Beetles are part of the Scarab family. Asiatic Rhino Beetles eat the fronds and shoots of developing palm trees in tropical Asia and Pacific islands. They also feed on dead and decaying plant matter. The males have longer horns than the females, and they use those horns to fight each other for mating rights. The females just chill.
Sometimes they are kept as pets, and a lot of other times they are pests. As stowaways, they make their ways to other countries and eat native and farmed plants. This can disrupt the balance of ecosystems if they get out of hand, like when nothing in the area wants to eat a bug like them and they can multiply without any natural control. P.S.: Beetles don't have eyes like the way I drew, I made it look more 'vertebrate-ish' as a stylistic choice.

Hey guys! This is my character Ham, a grizzly bear. Grizzly bears are a subspecies of brown bears and can be around eight feet tall standing on their hind legs and are [somewhat surprisingly] around three and a half feet tall on all fours. They're shorter than other brown bear subspecies. They're called grizzlies for the silver-tipped fur on their backs which give them a grizzled look. Their claws are two inches long at the minimum but can get longer than four. Like most bears, they are omnivorous and opportunists, meaning they would be inclined to eat whatever they can find.
I drew this guy on my first ever twitch stream! My chat helped me create an interesting backstory for him. Ham divorced his wife, Beef the polar bear, 32 years ago. They are still on good terms and are great friends- things simply just did not work out. When the divorce was settled, Ham moved out of Beef's bearpartment. The only food he brought with him in his car was a loaf of raisin bread. Ham hates raisin bread, and when he took a bite- he was filled with so much grief and disgust that he underwent mitosis! In the other seat next to him, sat Moh. Moh was everything annoying, rude, and boring about Ham. Ham ended up being so terrified that he crashed back into his ex's yard. To be continued! [ Art streamed LIVE on Specs_Scribbles - Twitch ] Here is my fanart of good old Garfield. Garfield is a wonderful individual and I love him a lot.
[character belongs to Jim Davis]
Hey guys! Here's my fanart of Tails from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Tails is a fox who is a very loyal friend, and a great mechanic. He has two tails which he can spin like helicopter blades. He's essentially an attack helicopter. Tails has had tons of varying designs over the years, but I decided to follow his design in the TV series Sonic Boom. I'm already drawing Sonic and some of Tails's other friends, so look out for that! :D
Here's Iritz, a rat character I made! It's a domestic rat. I really liked the design I made, so I decided that it would be my 'fursona' or an animal character that could represent me in comics and other drawings, like when I don't feel like drawing people. Although some might say that a fursona would be specifically for members of the furry fandom, I don't consider myself a furry. They're still pretty neat, though!
I'll be posting more art soon. Seeya all later! :> Ello! This is Paella the Pallas Cat Girl, an anthro character I made. She likes dancing, feeding birds, and cooking. I drew her on paper and she didn't look quite like a pallas cat, but I was able to edit and refine the sketch in gimp. before creating the lineart and coloring her in.
Anyways, in real life, Pallas Cats or manuls are endangered in some countries, but are comepletely extinct in others! They get hunted for their fur and are captured and shipped haphazardly for the exotic pet trade (where they may not even be taken care of properly). This is my artistic interpretation of Veil Sixclaw, the son of Swartt Sixclaw the ferret warlord. I won't give spoilers, but he tends to get away with a lot of bad stuff by acting cute and faking crying- which he can really pull off! He even tried to poison someone once and almost got away with it- aaAAAAA!! I'm giving spoilers! D:
This is another fruitifuzz. This is a Kabocha Squash Fruitifuzz! they can be either red or green, and are fluffy and chubby. They look a whole lot like their namesake, the real Kabocha Squash. Kabocha squashes originate from Japan. They are sweet and have bright yellow insides. I like them a lot!
These charming Fruitifuzz are Yellow Straightneck Squashes. As with all fruitifuzz, they ate tons of their namesake fruits when they were hungry larvae, thus developing to resemble them.
Having no claws and being chubby fuzzballs, they aren't adept at climbing. However, like other gourds, they have thick, rough paw pads and powerful mandibles. Being sturdy and strong, they can travel long distances and work for many hours without a sweat. Their mandibles are suited well for gnawing at tough vines and penetrating hard food, making them excellent farmers. Another fascinating ability they have is the peculiar skill of mimicking sounds just like a parrot! They can screech and squawk and imitate all sorts of sounds. They are very noisy and love to cause a giant ruckus, flapping their long wiry arm fur and knocking things over. You'll know when they're partying around when you hear them strumming on the burblebar, a little bamboo guitar-like instrument. In these squash festivals, it's a tradition to scream out your name at the very top of your lungs. Very noisy and not pleasant when you're trying to sleep, but these parties can be a blast! I hope y'all enjoyed this Fruitfile log! More fruitifuzz coming soon! See ya later! :3 Heyo! It's been a long, long, loOOng time since the last post. I love the warrior cats series, and even though I'm only on the fourth book in the main arc, I still decided to doodle Hollyleaf! I quite like Hollyleaf's character. She's- uh-oh! I've spoiled the series for myself, I better not spoil it for you. Anyways, I hope you like this doodle! Cya later!
Huehuehue... You thought I was gonna post about the chicken by now! *more evil screeching* This is Ratthew, a rat with a little bit of blue-jay bird in him. (see, tail feathers!) He has an affinity for books and memes, usually reading and viewing them every day. Besides that, he loves spending time in the outdoors, picking mushrooms and berries out in the forest. Sometimes he attaches pretty leaves or mushrooms to his circular earring. He also likes competing in maze races, for who could get to the end first. He's also friends with the chicken and rooster... Aah! Now I'm going to have to post about the chickens next post! Hmm... There's no way to troll you guys more now. I'm just gonna give in! Cya guys that post! =0w0=
Bwahahaha! You thought I was going to post about the chickens!? Didn't you!? *evil screeching* Hehe, back to the topic! So, this pelican was made like the others, sketched on paper and finished in gimp. She's also a nice pelican, she won't swallow pigeons alive and whole. (they do that sometimes, I saw footage of it! D:) This special birb is an American White Pelican. They are AKA as black-tipped pelicans, from the black tips on their inner/outer wings. In the breeding season they grow funny crests on their beaks. They shed it afterwards, but I'm not sure what happens to it after that, do fish eat it? Do the pelicans themselves eat it? So far I have not seen a picture of a detached crest, and I am yet to know what happens to those funny growths. Well, I'm just going to ponder my existence and ascend into the potato dimension. Cya all later! 0v0 Hey guys! I just came back from a school excursion, and interacting with the chickens there made me want to post, not about the chicken and the rooster I made, but of this cassowary! It's still a bird, so I guess it works! So, this is an anthropomorphic cassowary, as you can tell by the arms instead of wings. Anthropomorphic meaning showing human traits, features, or characteristics. I started to draw these birds, and I just couldn't stop! I'll post about the other ones soon. Cassowaries are not endangered or threatened, but they are vulnerable. Their population is declining a little bit, most likely from the loss of habitat. I hope that some day they will not be like other animals, with no habitat and people desperately trying to save them. Ah! I don't want any more animals going the way of the dodo. So, that's it!
Cya all later, peeps! Here's one of my latest artworks! This is a page from my coloring book, I Draw, You Color! It depicts a Treebork and its friends. Treeborks are peaceful crafters of beautiful weaving, which they use to make their nests. They live in small colonies of about 10 to 25 members. Of course, this is not a set number, and in tough times they are known to form megacolonies of more than a hundred individuals!
The little green and grey ungulate (hoofed mammal) sitting on a moss-rock is a Keynoot! Keynoots are tiny herbivorous animals that reside in and around ponds, rivers, and lakes. they eat marshy plants like duckweed but will go after other things like snowy cattails. There is a misconception that they mostly eat snowy cattails due to their white tongues. The slug chillin' along side the two is a Slivaslug! They are poisonous mollusks with an affinity for spider-webs! They often form a symbiotic relationship with spiders, protecting them for a weekly ration of silk threads. Stay colorful, peeps! As you can see in this artwort, every creature is sooo in love! I made this last year when my bro got married! <3
Anyway, I recently sent this to CelebratingArts.com and it passed to get published! Yay! Well, now that it's holiday, I can post more in my blog! So, expect more artzy poztz from meh. :D High paw to my pug. I made this for my big bro who likes pugs. The first art I made from my new set of markerz. That's right! Got some new, awesome, and colorful ink pens! I'm also using them to draw some creatures from the game, "Tower of Sages". There's quite a lot of colorful characters which I will post next time. Woof woof!
![]() This is the card I made for my teachers! I am the dog in the middle, by the way. I really like the chubeh crocodile that I drew. Sometimes, I surprise myself when my drawing comes out great! So, I'm planning to clip out the crocodile and draw more cutey crocs like him but with rainbow colors. Anyway, to make the croc', I used different texture stamps to make the scales. I forgot to color the spikes, but I can edit that later but, maybe not coz' it looks okey as it is. 'I think... Have a super summer! This is my entry for the Doodle for Google Contest. I didn't make it for the selection of States winner, but it's okay! Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. I had fun drawing anyhow. There are so many things that I'm interested in and love to do. You can see some of them in my drawing; books, bugs, skate boards, dogs, pizza, fruits/vegies, art, music, etc,....
'Later friends!! =D ![]() This is another Pixelmator artwork of mine. I named the cat in the box K10 with a friend trying to get in, but he is too chubeh and cannot even squirm inside. I really ought to make a comic story out of these two kitties because they are too cute to be left in just this picture. They could be playing chase with the neighbors silly-funny Chihuahua; climbing up a papaya tree, or balancing on the laundry line. Hahaha... I'm signing off so I can work on this idea before my inspiration goes kaputz! =D |
